영국의 뉴캐슬 미술관이 5월 7일, 장애를 가져도 편안하게 관람할 수 있도록 접근성을 개선했다고 설명했다. 곳곳에 비치된 QR 코드를 통해 음성, 수화 등으로 안내하는 디지털 가이드인 낸시(Nancy)는 이용할 수 있다. 1977년에 지어져 불편한 두 개의 떠 있는 계단 주변은 시각 장애인이 안전하게 이동할 수 있도록 조각을 새겨 넣었다. 주요 작품에도 촉각 모형과 점자를 추가해서 촉감으로 미술품을 감상할 수 있다.
