VLC 비디오 플레이어를 서비스하는 비디오LAN이 CES 2025 현장에서 오픈소스 인공지능 모델로 동영상에 여러 언어로 자막을 생성하는 기술을 시연했다. 자동 자막 서비스는 동영상 스트리밍 서비스인 유튜브에서도 지원하는 기능인데, 이것은 클라우드와 연결하지 않고 오프라인에서 작동한다는 점이 특징이다.
